Mental Health Evaluation, Therapy & Medication Management

Medtriq provides mental health evaluation, medication management, and therapy on a limited basis for adults across Washington State. Most visits are available by telehealth, with an office in University Place for local patients.

For many adults, virtual mental health care makes it easier to start and stay engaged in treatment. Telehealth can reduce travel time, improve privacy, and make follow-up more realistic for people balancing work, family, school, or transportation barriers.

Medtriq’s mental health care is focused on evaluation, diagnosis clarification, medication management, practical follow-up, and limited therapy when clinically appropriate and available. Therapy availability depends on clinical fit, provider availability, and appointment capacity. DBT groups or a formal DBT program are not currently offered.

Conditions we commonly evaluate

Medtriq can evaluate and manage medication treatment for concerns such as:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety disorders, including panic
  • PTSD and trauma-related symptoms
  • ADHD
  • Bipolar disorder
  • OCD
  • Insomnia
  • Adjustment disorders
  • Personality-related concerns

What medication management means

Medication management begins with a clinical evaluation. Your provider reviews symptoms, history, current medications, prior treatment, safety considerations, and treatment goals.

If medication is appropriate, your provider may discuss options, expected benefits, possible risks, side effects, and follow-up monitoring. The treatment plan is shaped by your symptoms, history, goals, and safety considerations.

Medtriq generally does not prescribe benzodiazepines; however, treatment decisions are made after an evaluation. Many patients benefit from non-benzodiazepine medications, therapy when available, or other supports. Your provider will discuss available options with you.

Telehealth mental health care across Washington

Telehealth can make follow-up care more accessible for adults who are balancing work, family, transportation, or distance from a clinic. Medtriq serves adults throughout Washington State by telehealth, so patients do not need to live near University Place or Tacoma to begin care when virtual care is clinically appropriate.

Patients should join visits from a private, safe location where they can speak openly with their provider.

Important medical note

Website information is not a substitute for medical care. Treatment decisions are made through a full assessment, discussion with your provider, clinical judgment, and your goals for care.
