OCD Evaluation & Medication Management
Obsessive-compulsive disorder can involve unwanted intrusive thoughts, fears, urges, rituals, checking, reassurance-seeking, avoidance, or repetitive behaviors that feel difficult to control. Some people know their fears feel excessive but still feel pulled into rituals or mental reviewing.
Medtriq helps adults across Washington better understand OCD symptoms and discuss treatment options. Care may include evaluation, medication management, and therapy on a limited basis. Specialized therapy may still be recommended as part of a broader treatment plan when clinically appropriate.

What evaluation may include
Your provider may ask about obsessions, compulsions, time spent on symptoms, distress, avoidance, mood, anxiety, sleep, substance use, and previous treatment.
OCD symptoms can overlap with anxiety, trauma, depression, ADHD, and stress. A fuller assessment helps your provider understand what is happening instead of treating one symptom in isolation.
Medication management
Medication may be considered when clinically appropriate. Your provider will discuss options, risks, benefits, side effects, and follow-up monitoring.
Your provider will discuss options after learning more about your symptoms, history, goals, and what kind of support may fit your situation.
